Ok, well, recently there have been some (still occurring) changes. The majority of the last week was spent re-governing my circle of friends. It's sort of like when a shitty football team dumps all their current starters for the youngest draft picks in hopes that they won't suck. The difference is that instead of drafting new friends, I'm simply dropping the backstabbers who were pretending to be my friends everyday, and ceasing to continue my sad neglect of those who truly do care. I've realized one important fact about myself, and that is that I am though. I am through with the drama, the bullshit, and everything that comes with being a high school student. It's all so juvenile, so beneath me. I have discovered that I am better than all of that. I do not need the backstabbers, the drama queens (male and female), the gossipers, or any other guild of teenage Steptford Wives. They need me, for they feed on the happiness and jubilation of their "friends." They need me, and that hasn't hit them just yet. But it will. Because fuck them. It's going to hit them like an eighteen wheeler, and it is already too late. My philosophy: no regrets, no committing suicide. Those only create more problems. Regret is just admitting that you cannot accept a defeat. It is weakness, a strong mind would know they were wrong, and accept that, and grow from it as to not be quite as wrong in the future. Suicide is violence, and violence in wicked. It only adds more hurt. You cannot heal a wound with another wound. So instead, I look back, and say "yes, these things happened." I am proud of my most embarrassing moments, and no one can take that from me. So to everyone who is there, thank you, I hold you in great regard and high esteem. To everyone else, you are your own you, and no one can ever make you anyone else. If our paths are to ever cross again, may they be smoothly paved and not wrought with rocks, as old paths often are.
